📰 AKAAL – Bilingual (Punjabi & Hindi) Indian historical action blockbuster is about to release!
Just released the official trailer, Akaal – co-written, directed and starring Gippy Grewal – immediately took the internet by storm with its explosive epic scenes and fiery fighting theme. The trailer revealed the cast including Gippy Grewal as a Sikh warrior, followed by Nimrat Khaira, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Nikitin Dheer and many more.
🧭 Plot & Spirit
The setting is set around 1840 in Punjab after the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh – when the fragile peace is shaken by foreign powers and civil war. The main character, Akaal Singh, – played by Gippy Grewal – stands up to lead the community against the relentless attack of the enemy.
The trailer opens with the line: “Warriors are born in the heart of a storm…” – and the image of a burning flag, bloodshed on the land, creating a tense atmosphere right from the first seconds.
