Cast: Alexandra Daddario, Frank Grillo, Diego Boneta, and Danny Trejo
Dir. Roel Reiné

It crawls. It stalks. It pounces. Welcome to the jungle, where the hunter becomes the hunted.
Anaconda 5: Jungle Predator revives the cult creature franchise with more teeth, more blood, and a terrifying new ecosystem. This time, the monstrous serpent has left the swamp behind and settled in a remote South American rainforest, where illegal logging, black market science, and ancient legends intertwine.

Alexandra Daddario plays a biologist turned survivor who makes a terrifying discovery: a genetically modified anaconda, designed for stealth and speed, has been released into a fragile ecosystem. Frank Grillo plays a hardened ex-mercenary hired to lead the extraction team, and every look he gives is filled with anger and regret.

What sets this sequence apart? The scale. The action. The progression. This isn’t your grandfather’s snake: this one hunts with precision, camouflages itself like a chameleon, and strikes without warning. The kills are swift, brutal, and often disturbingly creative.

Director Roel Reiné ratchets up the tension with claustrophobic jungle chases, night-vision hunting sequences, and an epic waterfall battle—undoubtedly the series’ most intense moment to date. And yes, Danny Trejo shows up with a machete and a vengeance. An instant legend.

Final Verdict:
Anaconda 5 is a witty, wild, and adrenaline-pumping film with decidedly kitschy creatures. It’s kitschy, gory, and hilarious. The forest is home to a new predator, and you’ll think twice before returning.
