After more than a decade of waiting, the sequel to Cocktail – the hit modern rom-com of 2012 – has officially started filming. Re-directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films, Cocktail 2 will take audiences back to the world of love, friendship and complicated conflicts, but this time with a completely new cast and a more modern perspective.
Young stars full of expectations
The blockbuster promises to bring together Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the main roles, opening up a new and attractive “love triangle”. This is the first time Kriti Sanon has confirmed the female lead role, calling the project a “liberating journey”.
