After nearly two decades, Hera Pheri 3 has been officially confirmed, marking the return of the legendary trio: Akshay Kumar (Raju), Suniel Shetty (Shyam) and Paresh Rawal (Baburao/Babu Bhaiyya) — bringing audiences back to the classic comedy moments of the “Utha le re deva” era.
The Challenging Journey Behind the Scenes
Starting with many obstacles, including Paresh Rawal announcing his withdrawal because he was not satisfied with the script or production schedule. Thanks to the film’s efforts to resolve tensions through reconciliation between the parties, especially Suniel Shetty, Rawal returned to the Third Person with his co-stars.
Restoring Trust
Akshay Kumar confirmed that all legal issues have been resolved and the film is “back on track,” promising an official announcement soon. Priyadarshan — the director of the first film — is set to return for the third film.

Hera Pheri 3 is still in pre-production, with the expectation of shooting starting in late 2025 and an official release before 2026.
