General Introduction
Kannada’s action-drama blockbuster, Kaatera, starring Darshan and directed by Tharun Kishore Sudhir, has just officially released its trailer with a strong message and haunting visuals. The film is produced by Rockline Entertainments under the guidance of producer Rockline Venkatesh.
The nearly 3-minute trailer reveals the setting of a Karnataka village in the 1970s with oppressed farmers, powerful landlords and a blacksmith – Kaatera – determined to stand up for justice.
Outstanding Plot
Setting: Bheemanahalli village, Karnataka – where farmers are forced to pay high taxes, land laws are abused, and landlords – like Jagapathi Babu playing Mr. Devaraya – rule by violence. Kaatera (Darshan) is a blacksmith, living a normal life with his family but was pushed into war when he witnessed his relatives and his homeland in crisis.
