“Megadiver 3: Dark Water” (2026) continues the action-packed Megadiver franchise, with Jason Statham returning as diver Jonas Taylor. Directed by Ben Wheatley and produced by Warner Bros., this third film plunges audiences into even darker and more deadly ocean depths, where new prehistoric threats emerge.

The story follows Jonas, who must once again confront the terrifying megalodons. After surviving encounters with the enormous sharks in previous films, Jonas is assigned to explore an uncharted region of the Mariana Trench. This mission leads his team to a hidden ecosystem, home to even more ferocious creatures, including the “Blackwater Meg,” a massive megalodon with black scales, more aggressive and deadly than any of its predecessors.

As the Blackwater Meg and other monstrous marine predators wreak havoc on both underwater operations and coastal cities, Jonas and his team must find a way to stop the destruction. With time running out, the battle intensifies, featuring thrilling underwater action sequences and epic clashes between humans and these ancient predators.

Beyond the intense action, Jonas faces personal challenges, primarily with his daughter, Meiying (Sophia Cai), as they work together to survive. Megatubarão: Águas Sombrias promises to raise the stakes, offering a terrifying mix of adventure, horror, and breathtaking suspense as humanity confronts its greatest underwater threat yet.
