In 2025, an expedition discovers a mysterious time rift near the wreck of the Titanic. From there, Jack is pulled straight into the present – still 23 years old – and wakes up on a replica Titanic, built for a lavish party for a billionaire.
Rose, now over 90 years old, but rejuvenated for a brief 48 hours by the time rift, boards the ship to find Jack. At the same time, they realize the horrifying truth: the rift is widening and threatens to swallow the new ship, repeating the disaster of 1912.
The climax is the breathtaking final 80 minutes, as the modern ship reenacts the Titanic tragedy in real time — water flooding in, structures collapsing, passengers panicking amidst luxury turning into hell.
In the final moment, Jack makes a fateful choice: return to 1912 to personally close the time rift, accepting his fate to save the present. He kisses Rose one last time, as she remains in this world — living the life they both dreamed of, but couldn’t have together.
Verdict: 10/10 — There are doors that, when opened, connect time… but also force the heart to make choices.
