Rebooting the franchise
Welcome 3, officially titled Welcome to the Jungle, is the sequel to the popular Welcome comedy series produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala. Director Ahmed Khan takes on the role of capturing the humorous, quirky spirit inherent in the franchise.
The first two parts Welcome (2007) and Welcome Back (2015) each created millions of laughs and huge revenue at the Bollywood box office
Release & Production Schedule
Originally scheduled to be released on 20/12/2024, but due to the extended filming and huge amount of VFX, the film was postponed to Christmas 2025 (around 25/12/2025)
The postponement is to avoid competing with blockbusters such as Avatar3, Alpha, Toxic or ShaktiShalini in the same period

Akshay Kumar returns as the lead role, bringing a familiar humorous mark.
The huge ensemble cast includes: Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and many more — with a total of over 20 actors on the group poster

The film revolves around a large-scale stunt, where a group of daring characters come together to perform “a crazy stunt” to achieve a noble goal—in the words of Shreyas Talpade: “The brothers come together and do a stunt… madness on set… entertain people”
The project is aimed at a big family entertainment experience, with humorous content, grand sets and the vibrant energy typical of classic Bollywood
Production Problems
QThe production encountered financial difficulties, leading to many canceled shooting schedules and delayed payments. Some staff have not yet received their salaries, causing the project to be put on hold for a long time
As of mid-2025, some shoots have not been completed, causing the release date to be pushed back to late 2025
Summary & Expectations
Welcome to the Jungle (Welcome 3) is a grand comeback, recreating the masala comedy spirit of Bollywood with a cast that brings together a series of famous names.
Despite the production interruption, the film is still expected to bring a festive season at the end of 2025 full of laughter, grand filming and high entertainment value for the general audience.
